Horse Scouts is a non-riding program at the farm that is open to current students and non-students alike! It is designed to teach kids and adults more about the responsibility of caring for horses and all of the stuff that riding lessons doesn’t have time of getting into! We will cover a specific topic each session such as breeds, what to do if your horse gets sick, training methods, and lots of other fun things. Each session involves some classroom type learning, practical hands on in the barn learning, light chores, and if we have time a fun game. If we have enough interest we may do a morning session as well. There will be a few snow days scheduled for bad weather. For more details see www.laurelinfarm.com/clinics
